This was our 6th Labor Day on the beaches of Lake Michigan, and our 3rd staying at the artist's retreat beach house. Jeff, Jordyn, and Charlie were at a wedding, so we had a smaller group. We were blessed with warm, sunny weather most of the weekend and we spent more time in the water and on the beach than ever before. We had lots of good food and family bonding time. Friday was Mexican night, Saturday was face painting, games, and Italian night. We also had a wine tasting party. Sunday we did crafts and grilled hamburgers, and then left on Monday. The only downsides of the weekend were the plague of flies, inside and out, and missing part of our family. Thanks Mom and Dad for a memorable weekend!
