Christmas with the Joneses
Once again Brian's dad and step-mom, Larry and Cindy, served a very elegant and delicious Christmas feast. Uncle Keith gave all the boys mini helicopters and they had fun flying them around the living room. Watch out for the Jones boys and their toys! We had a very relaxing day and everyone gave generously. We thank God for such wonderful families and the times we have together.
Christmas with the Pins Clan
My mom and dad had quite the full house. My family, my sister's family, and my brother, his wife Jordyn, and their new puppy, Woolfe, all spent the weekend at my my parent's house. I cherish the times we can all be together. A broken stove on Christmas Eve proved a little challenging, but us Pinses thrive on riding the waves of emotion. The kids, grown children included, all enjoyed their gifts and playing together. I don't want to brag, but I did win both the Settlers game and Poker tournament. Once again mom and dad made it a very special Christmas.
Christmas 2007
Merry Christmas to all of you. We kicked off the festivities this year with a night out with Brian's mom, Debra. We had a nice dinner, drove around to look at Christmas lights, and came home to exchange gifts. Jadon got a play kitchen from Deb and opened his stocking from Santa. Once he found the matchbox cars inside, we could not interest him in opening anything else. Jadon is all about cars and trucks!

Weekend in Chicago
This was one of my best birthdays ever. Brian and I spent two days in Chicago. Thanks to Brian's parents for the hotel and to my parents for babysitting Jadon. We had a magnificent view out our hotel window and Larry and Cindy had a special birthday platter sent to the room. Wow! Over the two days Brian and I shopped, ate at a Tapas restaurant, saw Candlelight Carols at Moody Church, listened to live Jazz, went to the Museum of Science and Industry, and went to a German Christmas market. The snow on Saturday made it very festive, too. This was a weekend to remember!
